Since I was raised in a really small town with no foreigners...I had never really heard any accents.
Then I moved to the Big City. My boss was Russian. And I didn't understand a word. that. he. said.
I want an accent. Boooo!
I lived in Philly for 8 years recently and HATED that people said wah-ter like Woorter, or worse, wood-er. That is just stupid.
